Terms of Use

Last updated: 17 October 2026

These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) are an agreement between you and Afterhours Studio (“we”, “us”). They govern your use of the mobile games and applications we publish (each, a “Game”) and of this website.

By downloading, installing or playing a Game, you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not install or play our Games.

1. Who may play

Our Games are intended for players aged 13 and over. If you are between 13 and the age of majority where you live, you may only play with the consent of a parent or guardian, who accepts these Terms on your behalf. By playing, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

2. Your licence to use the Game

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and play one copy of each Game on a device you own or control, for your own private, non-commercial entertainment.

We do not sell you the Game. We keep all rights that these Terms do not expressly grant you.

3. What you may not do

4. Advertising

Our Games are free to download and are funded by advertising and optional in-app purchases. By playing, you accept that advertisements will be shown. Ads are supplied by Google AdMob; we do not choose or review individual ads, and an ad appearing in a Game is not an endorsement by us. Tapping an ad takes you to a service operated by someone else, under their terms and their privacy policy.

What information advertising involves is set out in our Privacy Policy.

5. Purchases and virtual items

Where a Game offers in-app purchases, they are processed by Google Play, not by us. The payment terms of Google Play apply to the transaction, and we never receive or store your payment details.

Virtual currency and virtual items are licensed to you for use inside that Game. They are not your property, have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for money or anything of value outside the Game, and cannot be transferred or sold. We may change, rebalance or withdraw any virtual item, and your licence to virtual items ends when your use of the Game ends or when the Game is discontinued.

Refunds are handled under the Google Play refund policy. Nothing here affects any statutory right to a refund that you have as a consumer where you live.

6. Changes to the Games, and availability

We may update, change, suspend or discontinue a Game, or any feature of it, at any time. We may stop publishing a Game entirely. We are not obliged to keep any Game, feature, server or saved progress available, and progress stored only on your device is lost if you uninstall the Game or reset your device.

Where a Game offers the optional Google Play Games sign-in, your progress is also saved to your own Google account through the Play Games Saved Games service. That storage is operated by Google, not by us, and we can neither read nor restore what it holds. We are not responsible for its availability, and a cloud save may be lost if you delete your Play Games data, if Google changes or withdraws the service, or if the Game is discontinued.

7. Intellectual property

The Games, including their code, artwork, characters, music, sound, text and the Afterhours Studio name and logo, are owned by us or by our licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. Third-party components used in our Games remain the property of their respective owners and are used under licence.

If you believe something in a Game infringes your rights, contact us at the address below with details and we will look into it.

8. Content you create

Our Games do not currently host chat, forums or user-uploaded content. If a Game later adds a feature that lets you submit content, you keep ownership of what you submit and grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host and display it for the purpose of operating that feature. You remain responsible for what you submit.

9. Third-party services

Our Games rely on services operated by other companies, including Google Play, Google Play Games, Google AdMob, Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics. Your use of those services is also subject to their own terms, including the Google Play Games terms where you choose to sign in. We are not responsible for their availability or for how they operate.

10. No warranty

Our Games are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranty that a Game will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or compatible with your device, and we disclaim the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties. Where that is the case, the exclusions above apply only to the extent the law permits, and your statutory consumer rights are not affected.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, for loss of data or of game progress, or for lost profits, arising out of your use of a Game.

Where we are liable, our total liability to you for all claims relating to a Game is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in connection with that Game in the twelve months before the claim, or USD 50.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.

12. Ending this agreement

You may end this agreement at any time by uninstalling the Games and no longer using them. We may suspend or end your licence if you breach these Terms, in particular the restrictions in section 3. Sections 7, 10, 11 and 14 survive the end of this agreement.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms when our Games change or when the law requires it. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change. Continuing to play a Game after a revision means you accept the revised Terms. If you do not accept them, uninstall the Game.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, without regard to its conflict of law rules, and the courts of Vietnam have jurisdiction over any dispute. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you habitually reside, or of the right to bring proceedings there.

15. General

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest remains in force. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms; we may transfer ours as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Games.
